Since 2015 we offer and install together with our partner virtual technologies, mainly to support project engineering and to minimize project risks.
Virtual technology is computer based and simulates behaviour of real equipment and processes like digester houses, pulp dryers and paper machines. It uses all relevant physic- and thermodynamic equations/formulas with the geometrical and mechanical parameters of these equipment and processes including product and raw material properties. The simulation program is, after being established, calibrated with the results of the real equipment/process/plant.
We use the virtual technology for:
1) production optimizing
2) plant upgrade projects
3) as planning tool for new equipment/processes/plants
4) for detailed process information
5) online for advanced process control
